On the way back. On of the upshots of the connection between shinto and the war, and the american occupation, or perhaps just modernity, is that shrines are gradually disappearing. This is a community centre near my house which (as shown on the stone needle) stands on the site of shrine now no longer in existance. back to Gallery |
